Your re-appointment is affirmation of good works you have done at NASENI, ACCI President tells Prof. Haruna
President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and former Attorney-General of the federation, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode, SAN., CON has described the reappointment of Prof. Mohammed Sani Haruna as a clear statement that he has delivered on the mandate of his office.
Prof. Haruna was recently reappointed as the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) by President Muhammadu Buhari for another five year term.
Prince Kayode’s congratulatory message which was obtained by the media in Abuja during the week noted that, just as the proverbial gold fish has no hiding place, the same could appropriately be construed to account largely for the re-appointment of Prof. Haruna.
“You took over the mantle of leadership at NASENI when it was in dire need of a transformative, vibrant and focused leadership to enable the agency deliver on its carefully crafted mandate.
“Under your leadership, you whole heartedly ensured that the agency did not only move forward but made it a hub for technological development as well as a critical take-off house for industrial revolution for Nigeria.
“You used the opportunity provided you to head the agency during the first five years to vigorously ensure that you delivered on the mandate of the agency by moving it from a typical organization with an organogram to one that has now become result driven.
“You did this within a record time and the fruits of your untiring labour is viable for all to see. This has therefore earned you a reappointment which we are celebrating.
“As someone who has been tested and trusted with the responsibility of creating critical infrastructure in the country, you left no one in doubt of your managerial prowess, intellectual acumen, competence and dutiful approach to everything”, Prince Kayode noted.
The President reiterated the commitment of the chamber in working closely with NASENI to ensure that the massive investments in the production of motor and tricycles, solar energy and several other inventions serve to develop the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).
