ACCI President reiterates commitment to development of Ondo state

Former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the federation, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode, SON, CON, has reassured the people of Ondo state of his commitment to the development of the state as his modest contribution towards he enthronement of economic benefits to its teeming indigenes.

Prince Kayode who is the President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) as well and council member of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) reassured the state when he paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bamidele David.

The visit on the Speaker was part of activities lined up for the Executive retreat of the chamber that just ended in Akure, the Info state capital.

“I want to deeply appreciate your focused leadership in the House which has in turn made governance of the state very easy by the Executive. You have maintained a genuinely cordial relationship which have equally brought about peace, order and good governance.

“Today, more than ever before, I wish to once more pledged my support to the works of the House of Assembly u der your able leadership and the state government t as a whole. As the President of the ACCI and Council Member of NACCIMA, it is very important for me to emphasise my willingness to do whatever it is within my powers to add positive impact to the I eternal developmental strides of this state.

The chamber is ready to collaborate, share ideas towards and integrate you into several networks that will create jobs, develop skills as well as the human capital for the overall good of our people”, Prince Kayode maintained.

Earlier in his address, the Speaker pointed out that he was proud to be associated with the dedication of the chamber whose efforts have contributed significantly in deepening economic and industrial development of not just the Federal Capital Territory but the entire nation over the last three decades of its existence.

He thanked the administration of the chamber under Prince Kayode for introducing a new and better sense of direction which he said has accounted for the monumental achievements the chamber has been associated with in the recent past.

While wishing the participants all the best in their endeavours, he announced that he is ready to partner with the chamber in all areas that will bring dividends to the state.

The ACCI retreat is an initiative take a critical look at the internal running of the chamber as well as project into the future with a view of enhancing organisational goals.
