The Chief Executive Officer of Webercom, Sheneni Tukura, has advised operators in the Small and Medium Enterprise sector to take advantage of WeberHub, a new digital business platform created to help companies bridge the gap between their operations and their potential clients and customers.
According to him, the platform will help them cut advertising budget.
Tukura gave the advice while announcing an Initial Coin Offering of the firm’s token, Webercoin.
He said that Webercoin was the digital asset that clients needed to operate on the WeberHub, “which offers enormous advantages such as offering incentives to participants for their activities on the platform as well as bringing them closer to their customers in order to reduce funds being expended on advertising.”
He said, “The Blockchain provides full transparency on a secure and efficient network. All transactions on the WeberHub platform utilise the Webercoin token, a cryptocurrency built on the Ethereum technology.
“The Ethereum platform is one of the most secure platforms in modern digital age. Users do not need to worry about data theft or loss. Privacy is guaranteed and absolutely no data is sold to third party.
“On WeberHub’s platform, business owners are rewarded for placing their Ads on the platform and users get rewarded for rating or recommending a business.
“Webercoin is the token that fuels the WeberHub marketplace, which connects businesses to users on an easy-to-use platform, rewarding them for engagement on the platform, all within an Ads network system.”
On measures put in place to check fraudulent activities on the platform, Tukura said all participating businesses were subjected to an integrity test before being enlisted.
He said investing in Webercoin would yield profit in the future, unlike other coins/tokens that run as financial solutions.
“We are staking our token growth to our social platform and this gives it a strong backing because this is a system that can run independent of a token. We expect the token to increase in value because of our platform and investing now gives you not only profit but also a head start in marketing and advertising. “WebAd will change digital marketing as we believe people are ready for changes and new products that cater to very specific needs,” Tukura added.

The governor said the conference with the theme, ‘Transformation of Nigerian agriculture through sustainable technological innovation’, would provide a platform for manufacturers, researchers and other investors to proffer solutions to the challenges facing the sector.
