Bajaj Auto automobile outfit, on Tuesday in Kano, launched a mini vehicle, Maxima Cargo, specially designed to move agricultural produce by famers to the market.
The Managing Director of the marketing firm, (Metropolitan Motors), Mr Toyin Okeowo, the automobile is powered by a four-stroke Kubota 447.3cc diesel engine and two cooling systems with impressive power of 6.2kw.
He said the engine had been mated to a five-speed gear-box for optimum load carrying, over varying terrains.
Okeowo added that the vehicle was light weight, easy to drive, compact and equipped with strong chassis made of reinforced steel.
He named its other remarkable features as dry clutch, car-type CV shaft, requiring very low maintenance cost, adding the vehicle came with a covered cabin to shield drivers from rain and unfriendly weather.
