The entire Organised Private Sector (OPS) in Nigeria,  particularly the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) is rejoicing with Prof. Adesoji Adesugba on his 60th birthday anniversary.
President of ACCI,  Prince Adetokunbo Kayode,  has described the 60th anniversary as a significant age in his life which has shown how long his contribution has been felt by all facets of the society.
Prince Kayode said: ” On this Special Occasion of your 60th Birthday, on behalf of myself,  the Executive Committee,  Council,  Management as well as staff of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry wish you a splendid celebration, many rewarding returns, Good Health and Almighty God’s protection. We wish you more years ahead as you continue to add positive value to the society”.
According to National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce,  Industry,  Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA),  Otunba Dele Oye Esq while adding his voice to the celebration wished Prof. Adesugba well.
“You have been an outstanding mentor, a  shining example of servant-leadership and remained a beacon of hope as well as pillar of support to the ACCI family, circle of friends and humanity in general. Enjoy your day”,  Otunba Oye stressed.
As part of activities marking the celebration,  a special lecture scheduled to hold at ACCI secretariat on Friday,  10th May,  2019 by 9am will be staged during which issues of national,  economic,  social and education issues will be discussed by carefully selected friends and well wishers of Prof. Adesugba.
The participants are drawn from the business community,  trade groups,  paramilitary formations,  the diplomatic circle and academia,  amongst others.
Professor Adesoji Adesugba is an expert in organizational development and institutional reforms, who has combined the best in private sector entrepreneurial acumen with an expert ability to navigate public sector practice.
Apart from been the Provost at the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s BEST Centre, Adesugba is also a visiting Professor of Business Administration at the American International University of West Africa, Banjul.
He lectures part-time at the Roegate College in Dublin, Ireland and the Baden International Business School, Baden, Switzerland.
Prof. Adesoji Adesugba obtained his doctorate in Business Administration with the highest distinction from the California Southern University, USA.
He has an M.Sc. degree in Investment Promotion and Economic Development from the Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland, UK, and his MBA from the Ogun State University in Nigeria.
He earned his first degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos in 1981. Adesugba also studied law and obtained his LL.B. from the University of Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1989.
Prof. Adesugba’s professional certification includes a certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from the World Bank Institute; a certificate in Chinese Economic Development from the Normal University, Beijing China; a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and a certificate from the Columbia Law School in New York.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and a Fellow of the Chartered Taxation Institute of Nigeria.
