NACCIMA Executives discuss national, regional economic development with President Buhari

Hajiya Saratu Iya Aliyu, National President of the Nigerian Association Of Chambers of Commerce, Industry Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) who is also the president of Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FEWACCI) and Chairman of the Organised Private Sector of Nigeria (OPSN) led a combined delegation of the 3 bodies to a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR at the Presidential villa, Abuja on Friday 20 September.

The Meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR focused on creation of a conducive environment for Nigeria’s private sector at the national and sub-regional levels, effective resolution of challenges faced by OPSN which include multiple taxation and infrastructure deficit.

 

Other areas of discuss include trade capacity building, MSMEs, Technology and infrastructure, AfCTFA, Women & Youth empowement and others.

President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR assured Hajiya Saratu Iya Aliyu that all her requests will be looked into.

The delegation include Mr. Faman Toure, President of Cote d’ivoire Chambers of Commerce; Mr. Doudou Doumbia, Vice President Burkina Faso Chamber of Commerce; Ide John C. Udeagbala, 1st deputy President of NACCIMA; Dele Kelvin Oye Esq., 2nd deputy President of NACCIMA; Ambassador Ayoola Olukanni, Director General of NACCIMA;  Mr. Solomon Vongfa, President of NASSI;  Engr. Rufai Mohammed MON, NACCIMA Patron; Mr. Segun Ajayi-Kadir, Director General MAN; Prince Adetokunbo Kayode SAN, President Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry & 2nd Deputy Ex-officio of NACCIMA; Alhaji Abba Yusufu, President Katsina Chambers; Chief Kola Akosile, President Ekiti Chambers & Oodua chambers; Dr.Farida Muheeba Dankaka, President Kaduna Chambers; Chief Nabil Saleh and President Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce.

 

Others on the delegation were: Mrs. Patricia Idakhoa, President Warri Chambers & NAWORG coordinator; Mohammad Adamu Mohammad, NACCIMA Youth Enterpreneur (NYE) coordinator and Saleh Y’au, NACCIMA Abuja Liaison Officer.
