As part of efforts to contribute towards the containment of wide spread of the coronavirus disease (covid-19), the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) will soon commence the distribution of materials to that effect.
The program is tagged: “Hand Sanitizers and Face Masks for the Underprivileged” and is supervised by Ms. Victoria Akai the ACCI Director General. The program is targeted at cushioning the effect of the pandemic on the underprivileged and needy in the society.
Shedding more light on the programme, Prof. Adesugba a Vice President at the ACCI said: “It is our own widows mite to support the governments efforts. We were able to mobilise a handful of our members and friends to embark on this mission.
“This initiative is supported by donations from members and the general public and it is to be distributed free through market women organizations and other such groups.
“The program will soon be launched by the President of the Chamber, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode”.
ACCI is a Grade A chamber of commerce in Nigeria that is engrossed in the task of contributing immensely towards the development of the Nigerian economy.
