The CEO of Blossom Natural Food Industries, Mrs Alanyingi Silva is a great motivation to female entrepreneurs through her passionate and innovative management of her business enterprises , President Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode has disclosed.
Speaking while on familiarisation tour of the facilities, the ACCI chief noted the direct involvement of the CEO who is the wife of the Minister of State for Petroluem in the day today running of the factory, adding ” she is not an armchair manager but rather an active handler of human and material resources.
Mrs Sylva whose firm also produced and distributed sanitizers for the covid-19 started Blossom in 2015 with specialisation in healthy foods and services.
“What we saw today is quite encouraging. Her vision is passionately driven by her with support of dedicated staff. We also notice the products are unique and innovative. This is very good for the industry in Nigeria. She is a great motivation to our members especially the female industrialists entrepreneurs.
” And it turned out, she had been a member of the Chamber through another of her company in the past. She had also been attending Abuja Annual Trade Fairs. We intend to capitalise on her brand as a model for educating and enlightening our female businessmen. This we hope will serve as a boost to spur her to greater achievement. It is also as an encouragement to other female entrepreneurs to redouble their effort at contributing to national development.
“Many factors account for success in entrepreneurship. Beyond capital ,a major prerequisite is the human management capacity of the business owner and the depth of vision and persistence . We have seen our own role model for Female entrepreneurship in ACCI”, Prince Kayode said.
