Nigerian government has recognised the cooperation and supportive role played by the nation’s organised private sector, NACCIMA in ramping up government response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Federal Government had immediately after the outbreak of the pandemic set up a multi-Sectoral committee to fashion out helpful measures and follow up execution especially in areas that may affect business sector amd its operations.
The government through the Federal Ministry of Trade and Industry wrote a commendation letter to NACCIMA , the OPS representative on the committee.
The letter signed by Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo,
Permanent Secretary of Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment read as follows:
“This is to commend your patriotic service to the nation as Member of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment Committee on Sustainable Production and Delivery of Essential Commodities during COVID-19 Pandemic.
“Your exemplary dedication, commitment and loyalty in the service of our fatherland will remain indelible.While appreciating you for the satisfactory service rendered, please accept the assurances of the Honourable Minister’s personal regards and best wishes”, the commendation letter noted.
