According to research, sexual victimization by women is more common than gender stereotypes would suggest and it is a subject which is difficult to talk about for anyone who has experienced any sort of abuse.
While most of these survivors are women, it is important to remember that male sexual assault happens and is rarely talked about.
In many countries, in the eyes of the law, only a man can commit rape, but victim accounts have now shown that men can also be raped and sexually assaulted.
A man who has experienced similar assault this Saturday will be opening up about his devastating experience on Saturday, on WOMEN RADIO 91.7.
The safespace which is tagged “The Ugly Truth” of a man sexually molested at age 5 by his aunties is supported by Dele Oye & Associates.
The session will also be moderated by Toun Okewale Sonaiya.
Men women and children are recommended to join the session, as it serves to teach lessons.
