COVID-19 : ACCI Assures Exhibitors of Safe Envt at #2020AITF
–Receives Donations of 200 Nose Masks
The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry has assured exhibitors of the upcoming Abuja International Trade Fair that adequate provisions have been made for a safe environment during the duration of the Fair.
Director General of the Chamber, Ms Victoria Akai disclosed this on Monday at the Chamber Secretariat, while receiving over 200 nose masks donated to the Chamber by the MD/CEO of Superlink Integrated Company Services, Mr Ezechukwu Enwere.
The DG who assured exhibitors that the Chamber has put in place strict prevention and control measures to protect participants from the virus, said the Chamber was working with the FCT Department of Health Services to install adequate safety measures.
Speaking earlier, Mr Ezechukwu said he was donating the nose masks as part of his contribution towards finding solutions to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The donation is to make sure the chambers is complaint in providing masks to its members” he said.
Mr Ezechukwu who noted that he has been a member of the Chamber since 2013, said his business has experienced immenced exposure with numerous opportunities from the Chamber.
“ACCI is one of the finest Chambers of Commerce in terms of structures” he said.
“We have been regular participants of Trade Fairs over the years and we have benefited so much. And this year we will be showcasing our products” he said.
On what should people expect from him, Mr Ezechukwu said “we will be showcasing quality made in Nigeria products especially leather products”.
The theme of this year’s Trade Fair is “Trade and Commerce Beyond Borders,” and it will hold online and at the Abuja Trade & Convention Centre, Abuja, Nigeria, from 22nd October to 2nd November.
The Trade Fair, which will be one of the first to hold worldwide after the COVID-19 pandemic, will showcase over 50,000 products and over 500 exhibitors.
