The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has congratulated Odua Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ODUACCIMA) for bagging the National Award of Excellence in Leadership and Productivity, by the National Productivity Centre of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment.
The event was held last week at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja.
The President of ACCI, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode in a statement said that “as a committed player in the Organised Private Sector (OPS) movement in Nigeria, we are proud to be associated with you and wish to identify with you on this prestigious National award that will put the ODUACCIMA on the global map”.
He said that Oduaccima, a seasoned Chamber of Commerce deserves the award given their input to economic growth, at a time when many businesses and organisations would have taken a step backward due to the economic and health challenges facing the world globally.
“ACCI wishes to use this opportunity to assure you of closer working ties in the task of developing Nigeria’s economy by continuing to positively impact on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), which are the engine of economic growth” he further stated.
