The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) Dispute Resolution Centre (DRC) on the 25th of November held its 2020 ADR Conference in Abuja.
This year’s event which was held virtually, with the objective of providing opportunities for ADR Practitioners as well as the ADR Registrars in Nigeria to exchange views on the general acceptability of the Online Dispute Resolution in Nigeria.
It also shed light on the available opportunity for continued growth and development of this aspect ADR practice and recommend ways of effectively navigating likely challenges that could arise.
The theme of the Conference is “Alternative Dispute Resolution and the New Era, the Role of an ADR Registrar in Online Dispute Resolution.” Following the keynote address on the theme, a panel session on the Role of an ADR Registrars in Online Dispute Resolution will hold before the Induction.
The event will featured; a Keynote Speech on the theme by Prof Offernze D. Amucheazi SAN, FICMC FCIArb. Other speakers include Mr Godwin Omoaka SAN FICMC FCIArb, Mrs Diane Okoko FICArb, Ms Racheal Osibu FICMC, MCIArb, Mrs Ozioma Izura FICArb, MNIM.
