Abuja Technology Village Seeks Partnership With ACCI To Boost Investors
The Abuja Technology Village (ATV) on Wednesday sought the collaboration of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) in encouraging its members to explore business opportunities at the Abuja Technology Village.
The DG/CEO of the ATV, Hauwa Yabani stated this on Wednesday when she visited the Chamber on a courtesy visit.
Yabani who was received by the President of the Chamber, Alhaji Al-Mujtaba Abubakar and the DG Ms Victoria Akai, told the gathering that the focus sectors for the technology village include ICT, Biotechnology, Energy and Agro technology.
She said as part of its 2021 projects, the ATV is working along with its partners on establishing a Science and Technology Incubator, Medical Institute, aeronautical hub, Agricultural Research and Development Centre, a Golf Course amongst others to develop the village.
She therefore urged the ACCI management to inform its members of the emmence business opportunities at the ATV assuring that the collaboration with the ACCI will be a win-win situation.
While responding, the President of the Chamber, Alhaji Al-Mujtaba Abubakar said the Chamber would inform its members urging the ATV to be prepared for a formal presentation to the Chamber members.
The DG of the Chamber, Ms Victoria Akai urged the ATV to take advantage of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) as it has already taken off and would affect alot of businesses stressing that it is an opportunity for all to explore.
