GMMAN President Congratulates New Onibise of Komu on Coronation.
ABUJA — The President of the Gemstones Miners and Marketers Association of Nigeria (GMMAN), Engr. Adeniran Ajibade, has congratulated His Royal Highness, Oba Ayandele Olaitan Oyebisi Ayanleke-Elegbede (Gbolahan II), on his coronation and installation as the Onibise of Komu.
The coronation and presentation of the staff of office took place on September 18, 2026, at the premises of Community Primary School, Komu.
In a congratulatory message, Ajibade described the installation as an important milestone for the people of Komu, expressing confidence that the new monarch’s reign would contribute to peace, unity and sustainable community development.
He noted that traditional institutions continue to play an important role in promoting social cohesion, preserving cultural heritage and supporting development at the community level.
Ajibade also highlighted the significance of the new monarch’s position in Komu, a community associated with mining and other economic activities, stressing the importance of constructive engagement among traditional institutions, businesses, miners and other stakeholders in advancing local development.
“On behalf of all members of the Gemstones Miners and Marketers Association of Nigeria nationwide, I warmly congratulate His Royal Highness, Oba Ayandele Olaitan Oyebisi Ayanleke-Elegbede, on his coronation and installation as the Onibise of Komu.
“We pray that his reign will be peaceful and prosperous, and that he will lead his people with wisdom, fairness and dedication to the development of Komu and its people,” he said.
The GMMAN President further extended the association’s goodwill to the people of Komu, traditional leaders, the royal family and other stakeholders who participated in the coronation ceremony.
He wished the new Onibise a long and peaceful reign, while expressing hope that his leadership would strengthen unity and support the continued development of Komu and its surrounding communities.
