MYMAIGAURD Showcases Smart Security, Energy Solutions at 21st AITF

ABUJA — October 7, 2026

MYMAIGAURD Smart Security is showcasing a range of smart security, home automation and energy management solutions at the ongoing 21st Abuja International Trade Fair (AITF), organised by the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI).

The 21st edition of the AITF provides a platform for businesses to showcase their products and services, establish new business connections, and connect and network with businesses and potential partners locally and internationally.

The company’s participation is aimed at increasing awareness of its technology-driven solutions, expanding its market reach and connecting with prospective customers seeking innovative ways to improve security, convenience and energy efficiency in their homes and businesses.

Speaking during the trade fair, Edwina, Inventory Manager, MYMAIGAURD Smart Security, said the company was committed to building a technology brand that provides integrated solutions for securing personal spaces while helping users manage their energy consumption more effectively.

She explained that MYMAIGAURD’s product portfolio includes CCTV cameras, smart locks, smart sensors, smart switches, smart meters and other home automation devices designed to give users greater control over their environments.

According to her, some of the company’s CCTV cameras are fitted with battery backup systems that enable them to continue operating during power outages, thereby reducing security vulnerabilities that could arise when conventional surveillance systems lose power.

Edwina also highlighted the company’s smart locks, which she said provide an additional layer of security by restricting access to authorised users through registered biometric information, including fingerprints.

She added that MYMAIGAURD’s smart sensors are capable of detecting movement and identifying when doors and windows are opened, with real-time alerts sent directly to users through a dedicated mobile application.

“Through the app, users can monitor security activities and receive notifications directly on their phones,” she explained.

On energy management, Edwina highlighted the company’s smart switches and Equilibrium Smart Meter, which she said enable users to monitor electricity consumption, identify energy-intensive appliances and better understand their daily consumption patterns.

She noted that access to real-time energy information could help households and businesses make informed decisions about electricity usage and improve overall energy efficiency.

Edwina said MYMAIGAURD Smart Security was positioning itself at the intersection of security, technology and energy management, with a focus on helping individuals and families create safer, smarter and more comfortable living environments.

She described the company’s participation in the 21st Abuja International Trade Fair as an important platform for demonstrating its solutions, engaging directly with potential customers and exploring opportunities for market expansion.

The company’s presence at the trade fair reflects the growing adoption of technology-driven security, home automation and energy management solutions as Nigerian households and businesses increasingly seek smarter and more efficient ways to protect their properties and manage resources.
