NIMASA Delegation Visits ACCI Ahead of 21st Abuja International Trade Fair.
The 1st Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, on Tuesday received a nine-man delegation from the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), led by the Director, Abuja Zonal Office, Malam Umar Buba.
The delegation visited the Chamber to seek further clarification on the upcoming 21st Abuja International Trade Fair (AITF), scheduled to hold from September 25 to October 6, 2026, with the theme, “Resilience, Taxation and the Economy.”
Welcoming the delegation, Prof. Adesugba highlighted the wide range of opportunities available through ACCI’s four centres; the BEST Centre, NCC-DRC, Abuja Trade Centre (ATC), and National Policy Advocacy Centre (NPAC), and encouraged NIMASA to explore areas of mutual engagement.
Malam Umar Buba appreciated the 1st Deputy President for the enlightening engagement, noting that the visit was aimed at gaining a better understanding of how the AITF could benefit NIMASA as an agency.
“We thank the 1st Deputy President for opening our eyes to the other opportunities available through the Chamber, and we look forward to taking advantage of them,” he said.
The engagement was subsequently continued by the Executive Director, Abuja Trade Centre, Mr. Nnaemeka Ezekwesili, who further briefed the delegation on the AITF and available participation opportunities.
